April 29, 2022 – Today, GRAMMY-nominated, chart-topping artist Marshmello and fast-rising Latin music star Tokischa released “ESTILAZO” (‘Style’), a club ready banger to bring us into summer. Listen to the new track here. Fusing EDM and Dominican Dembow “ESTILAZO” is an uplifting declaration of support for sexual liberation, feminism, and inclusiveness. The Spanish language track boldly empowers with the refrain of ‘Ser Perra Está De Moda’ and is accompanied by a music video featuring cameos from Dennis Rodman, Nikita Dragun, and La Demi. Working with Tokischa was awesome. I flew down to the Dominican Republic and we made the song right there on the spot. Toki is obviously amazing and talented, so working with her was super fun and I’m super happy with how the song came out said Marshmello. “Beyond my obvious love for Dominican music and other Latin rhythms, I’m also a big EDM fan, so the opportunity to work with Marshmello made me incredibly happy. Personally, he is so sweet, kind and down to earth, but also insightful on how our sounds could mesh… and I am very glad he talked me into doing the song in Spanish, ‘cuz the idea was originally planned for English, but he loved working in my hood here in the DR and how the song felt when we translated it” added Tokischa.
